Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Skye Road Systems ("we," "us") collects when you use skyeroad.com, how we use it, and your choices. We keep it short because we collect very little.
The short version: we don't sell your data or run advertising trackers, the site sets no tracking cookies, and the only information you actively share is what you type into our chat or send us by email or phone.
Information we collect
Things you send us. When you use the "Ask our AI" chat, your message text is sent to our server to generate a reply. If you email info@skyeroad.com, call, or book a session, we receive whatever you choose to share — typically your name, contact details, and what you tell us about your business.
Automatic, technical data. Like any website, our host records standard server logs — your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request — to keep the site running and secure. We do not currently use analytics or advertising trackers.
Cookies
This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies.
Third-party services
To run the site we rely on a few providers, who process limited data on our behalf:
- OpenAI powers the AI chat. The messages you type are sent to OpenAI's API to generate a response. Per OpenAI's API policies, data sent through the API is not used to train its models and is retained only briefly for abuse monitoring.
- IONOS hosts the website and keeps the server logs described above.
- Google Fonts serves the site's fonts; Google may receive your IP address as part of delivering them.
Please don't put sensitive personal information — passwords, financial or health details — into the chat.
How we use information
- To answer your questions and provide the chat.
- To respond to inquiries and, if you become a client, to carry out the work.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site.
We do not sell or rent your information.
Data retention
We don't keep a database of chat conversations — messages pass through to generate a reply and aren't stored by us. Emails and business correspondence are kept only as long as needed to help you or to meet ordinary legal and record-keeping requirements.
Your choices and rights
You can email info@skyeroad.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request its deletion. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights over your personal data, and we'll honor valid requests.
Children
This site isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
